By creating an account and using Heartprint ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Heartprint. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that: • You are at least 18 years of age • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement • You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
3. Account Registration
To use Heartprint, you must: • Provide accurate and complete information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access • Be responsible for all activities under your account • Not create multiple accounts or use fake identities
4. Biometric Data and Consent
By using Heartprint, you explicitly consent to: • The collection and processing of your facial biometric data • Conversion of your photos into mathematical vectors for matching • Storage of your biometric vectors in our secure database • Use of this data for matching you with other users You acknowledge that: • Matching is approximate and based on facial feature patterns • This is NOT a facial recognition system for identifying specific individuals • Photos are processed to create vectors, not stored permanently • You can delete your data at any time by deleting your account
5. User Conduct
You agree NOT to: • Upload photos of other people without their consent • Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm others • Post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content • Attempt to reverse engineer or manipulate the matching algorithm • Use automated systems to access the Service • Violate any applicable laws or regulations • Impersonate another person or entity
6. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your photos and profile content. By uploading content, you grant Heartprint a license to: • Process your photos to create biometric vectors • Use your profile information for matching purposes • Display your profile to other users Heartprint and its logo, design, and algorithms are protected by intellectual property laws and are owned by Heartprint Inc.
7. Matching Algorithm
Our matching system: • Uses AI to find users with similar facial feature patterns • Provides approximate matches within a broad similarity range • Does NOT guarantee specific results or outcomes • May be updated or modified at our discretion You acknowledge that matching results are probabilistic and not guaranteed.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously and comply with applicable data protection laws.
9. Payments and Subscriptions
Certain features may require payment: • Subscription fees are billed in advance • You can cancel your subscription at any time • Refunds are provided according to our refund policy • Prices are subject to change with notice
10. Termination
We reserve the right to: • Suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time • Remove content that violates our policies You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee: • Uninterrupted or error-free operation • Specific matching results or outcomes • That you will find a romantic partner • The accuracy of user-provided information
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heartprint shall not be liable for: • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities • Damages resulting from user interactions • Third-party actions or content Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.
13. Dispute Resolution
